PDF Tools ("we", "our", "the app") is developed by Pneusen. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application PDF Tools - Editor & Reader, available on Google Play.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

PDF Tools is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• PDF files or any document content
• Device identifiers or unique IDs
• Location data
• Contacts, photos, or media (beyond files you explicitly select)
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Browsing history or search queries
• Cookies or session data

2. How the App Works

All PDF processing (merging, splitting, compressing, signing, viewing, etc.) is performed entirely on your device. Specifically:

• No files are uploaded to any server
• No internet connection is required for any PDF operation
• Processed files are saved locally on your device
• Original files are never modified unless you explicitly choose to overwrite them

3. Permissions

The app requests the following device permissions, used solely for functionality:

Storage / Media Access

Required to read PDF files you select and save processed output files to your device. We only access files you explicitly pick through the system file picker.

Internet (optional)

The app may request internet permission solely for displaying advertisements through our advertising partner. No user data or files are transmitted over the internet.

4. Third-Party Services

Advertising

PDF Tools may display advertisements provided by AppLovin MAX. These ads may collect certain device information as described in their respective privacy policies. This is the only third-party service integrated in the app.

No Analytics

We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any other analytics or crash reporting service.

5. Data Storage

All data created by the app (processed PDF files, cached temporary files) is stored locally on your device in the app's designated storage directory. You can delete this data at any time through:

• The app's Settings > Clear Cache / Clear All Data options
• Your device's app settings (Clear Data / Uninstall)

Uninstalling the app removes all associated data from your device.

6. Children's Privacy

PDF Tools does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The app is a general-purpose productivity tool rated for all ages. Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no risk of children's data being collected.

7. Data Security

Since all processing occurs locally on your device and no data is transmitted to external servers, your files benefit from the same security protections as all other data on your device. We recommend:

• Keeping your device's operating system up to date
• Using a screen lock on your device
• Using the app's Lock PDF feature for sensitive documents

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

9. Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no personal data to access, modify, or delete. However, you have full control over all files created by the app on your device.

Under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection regulations, you have the right to:

• Know what data is collected (none, in our case)
• Request deletion of your data (managed locally on your device)
• Opt out of data sharing (no data is shared)
